Emily’s birthday theme was Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and that’s what her parents chose for her first birthday cake smash photo session too. Her mom said she wanted pink and gold and girly but not over the top. Glittered stars on the background, golden stars on the floor, pink and gold balloons and plenty of pink tissue pompoms set the stage for Emily’s Twinkle Twinkle Little Star themed cake smash.
Her little outfit matched the theme perfectly, and she even left her crown headband on for most of the session.
This cute little red head was all about the pretty pink cake from Aileen’s Bakery here in Pueblo! There was pure joy on her face when she put her little hands into the cake!
After the cake was properly smashed, and Emily’s little tummy was full of sugary sweetness we moved on to the splash portion of her cake smash. She loved being in the metal wash basin, but she didn’t love sitting down. I just loved her adorable cheesy grins!
