Hi, I’m Mirranda, a Pueblo photographer and owner of K.D. Elise Photography.

I started K.D. Elise Photography because I love being behind the camera. As a mom, I know how quickly memories can fade and how important it is to hold onto them. I specialize in newborns and children, because those are the ages where changes occur most quickly. My goal as a photographer is to capture those stages for you, to remember forever.

I’m a coffee addict, it’s kind of necessary when you have three kids. I’m in my early 40's and I’ve been married to my husband Eric for more than two decades. I’m a goofy, clumsy cat person who doesn’t have a cat but does share a house with three dogs. Camping, hiking and fishing make me happy; just don’t ask me to bait the hook. Hand me a good book and watch me disappear for hours.

I picked up my first DSLR camera more than twenty years ago and have devoted myself to studying the art of photography since then. I’m constantly learning and growing as a photographer. Countless hours are spent each year on additional training, workshops, and refining new techniques so that K.D. Elise Photography can provide you portraits of the highest quality. Shortly after starting my business I decided to specialize in newborn photography, maternity photography, and baby photography. I absolutely love capturing life’s beginnings.

In November of 2018 K.D. Elise Photography moved into a new studio space near downtown Pueblo, Colorado. The new studio is centrally located at 112 W. Abriendo, Pueblo CO and is centrally located for clients traveling as well as those local. I’m now able to serve you even better and give you an absolutely incredible, custom portrait experience. I want you to walk out of my studio knowing that we’ve just created exactly what you were dreaming of.

In both 2015 and 2016 I was honored to receive the Bronze award in the Pueblo Chieftain’s Best of Pueblo contest for Best Pueblo Photographer. In 2016-2022 I was honored to be named one of the best newborn photographers in Colorado Springs by Expertise.com. My work has also been featured on Sheknows.com, The Huffington Post, and Cowgirl Magazine. My greatest honor though has been seeing clients return year after year for sessions; and choosing me to capture their second, third and even fourth babies. What a joy it is to watch families grow and to get to be some small part of that!
